With over 23 years of commercial real estate experience, Julie understands that a well-managed property enhances that property's value; she has become an expert at tenant retention and long-term client relationships. Julie acquired a broad knowledge base in the real estate industry during her tenure with CBRE as Associate Director of Property Management. She managed a team of 19 professionals and a portfolio of 12.4 million square feet of retail, office, and industrial properties. Previously, Julie held the position of Assistant Vice President of New Business Development at United Properties. While there, she represented institutional clients, including Aetna, Travelers, MassMutual, Principal, and Invesco, as well as local companies like Architectural Antiques, Northwestern Book Stores, Hirschfield's, Project Pathfinder, Peerless Land Company, and Swervo Development Corporation.
Julie has been involved with a number of organizations. She was a board member on the St. Paul Mayor's Business Review Council, Former Board Chair of the St. Paul BOMA, Co-Chair of the St. Paul BOMA Marketing Committee, Co-Chair of the St. Paul Downtown Alliance, the Gala Committee and Broker Committee. She was also a board member of the St. Paul Chamber of Commerce Political Action Committee and a member of the Future of Fourth Street Committee. Julie is frequently sought out to speak at different real estate venues. She teaches an ethics course for MNCAR that is a mandatory requirement for real estate licensees and has been a presenter of the St. Paul BOMA annual report for the past few years.
